Soft Paw Cat Litter, Original

More absorbency! All natural! Absorbs great! Extra absorbency! Longer lasting odor control! The Soft Paw story. Soft Paw cat litter is made from a super-absorbent, diatomaceous clay called Fuller's Earth. An extensive deposit of Fuller's Earth near Walkerton, Virginia was discovered by the Bennett family of geologists in the early 1980s. Fourteen million years ago, the area had been the bottom of a Miocene sea where clay, carried out to sea by mighty ancient rivers, combined with microscopic diatom skeletons, dropped to the ocean floor, and formed thick layers of clay. Typically, gradual changes in sea level brought such deposits to the surface where most were re-eroded and destroyed. But, near Walkerton, an ideally situated deposit was found and developed by Bennett Mineral Company in 1982. Because of its very unique combination of diatoms and Montmorillonite clay, this deposit yields an exceptionally absorbent cat litter with superior order absorbent properties. Furthermore, the product is manufactured using our exclusive bio-energy process which used sawdust as fuel. This saves millions of gallons of otherwise imported fuel, produces no pollutants to the atmosphere, and confers upon Bennett Mineral Company a well-earned reputation for environmental responsibility. What makes Soft Paw Original better? Soft Paw Original is an all-natural, super-absorbent, cent-free cat litter made of Fuller's Earth clay. This unusual, highly absorbent clay holds more liquid than typical clays and other minerals, resulting in superior odor control. Each litter particle is somewhat rounded, not jagged. Therefore, it doesn't stick easily to cat's paw, so there are less tracking problems and less mess. - Paul Bennett, Sr., Ph.D., Founder. Other uses for Soft Paw: Outdoor cooking - use Soft Paw in the bottom of a barbeque grill as a base for the charcoals. This can absorb grease, reducing the chance of grease fire; Garbage cans - pour a little Soft Paw in the bottom of garbage cans to soak up spills. This will help keep the cans smelling cleaner; Spills - sprinkle a generous amount of Soft Paw over oily spills. After several hours Soft Paw will have soaked up the mess. Simply sweep it up. Do not use Soft Paw in the winter as traction on ice or snow, Soft Paw may become slick, making the problem worse.
