Willamette Valley Riesling, Oregon

Stewardship of the land. Est. 1983. Hillside plantings and the Willamette Valley's cool climate create optimal conditions for growing world-class riesling. Grape clusters were picked at peak ripeness and lightly whole cluster pressed, not crushed, to produce the best flavors. The juice was fermented slowly at cold temperatures to enhance varietal flavor. Our Oregon style Riesling is fruity, clean and crisp, with acidity in balance with sweetness. It's great by itself or served with a wide variety of foods including pasta, chicken, seafood, fruits and light cheeses. All of our vineyards are certified sustainable - LIVE (Low Input Viticulture and Enology) and salmon safe. - Jim Bernau, Founder/Winegrower; Don Crank, Winemaker. P.S.
